Safety

The safety of our residents is our number one priority at Prestige. Each community is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with highly-trained attendants to ensure the well-being of our residents. We employ a variety of safety measures at our memory care communities, with a focus on areas listed below:

Secured neighborhoods so residents are unable to access areas that might be a risk or allow for them to get lost in an unfamiliar area. Regular housekeeping to maintain a clean, sanitized environment. Delegated medication management so residents maintain their prescribed regimens. Monitoring of tripping hazards and proper lighting to diminish fall risk. Regular maintenance of outdoor areas to provide safe walking and recreational experiences. Regular safety drills to prepare in the event of an emergency. Call systems for staff and residents. Licensed nursing oversight.

Dining

At Prestige, we know that memory care residents have unique dietary needs. In addition to serving delicious, nutritious, restaurant-quality meals, we take great care to meet the needs of our residents.

We use brightly colored plates so residents can better differentiate the foods, and our team is trained to look for non-visual cues that a resident may not be enjoying a particular offering.
