At Prestige Senior Living, dining is more than just sustenance – it’s joy, community and health.

It’s why we proudly offer the “Taste of Prestige”, our nutrition-focused dining program that embraces a philosophy of choice, personalization, and education.

This innovative program engages residents in our dining experiences through three carefully crafted components, all designed to ensure a focus on individualization to best meet our residents’ unique needs.

Choice

One of the most important elements of dining is having the choice and freedom to enjoy the foods you crave and desire. We aim to keep choice at the center of all our dining experiences to ensure our residents can enjoy the foods they love.

Personalization

Dining is not a one-size-fits-all experience; every resident has distinct preferences and dietary requirements. Personalized menus enhance the dining experience while also providing a valuable sense of independence and choice.

Education

With proper nutritional education, our residents experience improved motivation to stick to healthy diets, better management of health conditions and chronic diseases, and a boost in energy and mood.

Dining With The Comfort of Home

Nutritional Needs

From portion sizes to a focus on heart health, our dining teams create inventive and original meals, while ensuring they adhere to the specific health needs of older adults. That means lots of fruit and vegetables, low sodium, fiber, and much more.

Prestige Dining

A Focus On Flavor

Our meals don’t come off an assembly line, they’re prepared from scratch daily on-site by our talented culinary teams. Those teams place a premium on freshness and taste, while incorporating local flavors and delicacies. Every day you can look forward to something new in our dining room!

Prestige Dining

Food From The Heart

Our dining teams don’t just cook for the heart, they do so from the heart as well. We hire dining team members with a passion for working with older adults and giving them the VIP treatment. Here are just a few of the ways we do that:

Prestige Dining
When a new resident moves in, chefs meet with them and their family to get a sense of their preferences, allergies and traditions. Our chef and kitchen teams regularly speak with residents to get feedback on their menu and meals. Many communities offer food committees made up of residents: they sample new items, discuss what they like and offer input on the menu.
