Vancouver, Wash. – Prestige Care, an industry leader in senior living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation care, is pleased to announce that Discovery Nursing and Rehab of Vancouver recently earned a deficiency-free survey from the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS).
In its most recent survey led by state regulators, the skilled nursing center surpassed federal and state standards in every area of care, service and safety.
A deficiency-free survey indicates that the center met all of the state’s safety and quality standards. Skilled nursing centers are evaluated by state officials following an extensive, unannounced survey, which is conducted on-site over several days. Inspectors judge a center’s performance on safety measures in over 20 categories that cover quality of care, service and more.
“We are constantly putting forth our best effort to offer the best experience for all of our patients, and I am happy to recognize our staff and their hard work for achieving this honor from the state,” said Charlien Lynch, administrator of Discovery Nursing and Rehab of Vancouver. “I believe that this accolade is further proof of the quality, safety and service that we are always focused on enhancing each and every day.”
Officials evaluate skilled nursing centers’ systems and performance within quality measure categories spanning patient satisfaction, safety, quality of care and services, hygiene, food service and more. Survey results inform the public about the health and safety inspection results of various centers, allowing community members to track the improvements a particular skilled nursing provider has made over time.
Discovery Nursing and Rehab of Vancouver is centrally located between Vancouver and Hazel Dell and offers a high-quality and well-rounded skilled nursing experience.
