Summer Olympics at Prestige!

We don’t need to wait four years to get our residents involved in the Olympics – even if it’s not an Olympic year worldwide, it is here at Prestige.

And while there are no opening ceremonies or torch lightings, our residents are still engaging in friendly competition in a variety of activities!

Throughout the month of July, Prestige communities are holding “Senior Olympics” – days worth of fun and games designed to keep residents active and encourage camaraderie. From beanbag baseball to darts and even Wii bowling, our communities are coming up with fun and innovative ways to get residents involved. Here’s just a few highlights from across our communities.

Our friends at Prestige Senior Living Beaverton Hills have a wide variety of activities as part of their Olympics, and are even holding medal ceremonies for the big winners!

Across town at Prestige Senior Living Huntington Terrace, residents took advantage of a nice day to get outside for some cornhole action as part of their Olympics. Victory came by any “beans” necessary!

Over at Expressions at Enumclaw, the team got the ball rolling on a bowling event that was right up our residents’ alley. There was fun to spare and it was gutter perfection.

The bowling theme continued at Prestige Assisted Living at Lake Havasu, and Wii can report that it was a great day!

These events are part of our wellness programming, as we seek to nourish the mind, body and spirit of each resident. Our independent and assisted living residents enjoy our wellness program Celebrations, while our memory care residents take part in our award-winning Expressions program.
