What types of senior living does Prestige Senior Living offer?
Prestige Senior Living offers independent living, assisted living and memory care. Independent living suits people who want an active lifestyle without the upkeep of a house. Assisted living adds daily support with things like medication management, bathing and dressing. Memory care is a secure setting for residents living with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, where residents also take part in our award-winning Expressions program, designed to keep them active and engaged. Not every community offers all three, so it is worth checking the one nearest you.
How do I know when it is time for assisted living?
Families usually start the conversation after noticing a pattern rather than one event: missed medications, less interest in cooking or eating, a fall, unopened mail, or growing isolation. Assisted living is designed to help with those daily tasks while preserving as much independence as possible. In addition to making the decision as a family, touring a community and discussing the options with our team can help guide you or your loved one to the proper level of care.

Prestige Senior Living operates 24 communities across Oregon and Washington. In Oregon that includes Portland, Beaverton, Gresham, Tualatin, Canby, Newberg, Salem, Corvallis, Medford, Grants Pass, Bend, Redmond, La Pine, Pendleton, Tillamook and Myrtle Creek. Does Prestige Senior Living accept Medicaid?
Payment options vary by community. Some Prestige communities accept Medicaid and others are private pay only, so the most reliable answer comes from the community you are considering. If Medicaid is part of your plan, mention it when you first call and the team can confirm what that community accepts and what documentation is needed.
Can we visit before making a decision?
Yes, and we would encourage it. You can schedule a visit at any Prestige community to see apartments, meet the team and get a feel for daily life. Many families visit more than once, sometimes at different times of day, before deciding. Schedule an Experience to arrange a visit at the community you are considering.
