Millions of Americans find themselves caring for their own children, as well as aging parents. The demands all of it require are more than just time (which is in short supply as it is): they’re physical, mental and emotional.

It’s hard to watch parents or other older loved ones go through the aging process; it’s even more so when the responsibilities that come with it are added to your plate.

At Prestige, we understand how difficult it is to manage. If you find yourself in that situation, you’re part of what’s called “The Sandwich Generation”, a term coined to refer to people in the middle of caring for both their children and their parents.

Upcoming Free Webinar For Caregivers in the “Sandwich Generation”

For caregivers who find themselves struggling to balance meeting the needs of both their children and their aging parents, we have a free webinar coming up that will be of particular interest.

It will take place on Wednesday, December 15 at 11 a.m. Pacific time. The webinar will be hosted by Christy Yates, the author of the book “Building a Legacy of Love: Thriving in the Sandwich Generation”. She shines a light on many of the hurdles that are common in caring for an aging loved one, while offering strategies for moving from struggling to overcoming those hurdles, to growing as a family in surmounting them; moving from surviving to thriving and building a legacy of love.

In addition to providing advice and guidance for people in the “Sandwich Generation”, she will also be giving away five copies of her book as part of the webinar. To register for the free webinar, fill out the form on this page.
