The American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living recognize top care providers in the nation
Vancouver, Wash. – Prestige Care, a leading provider of senior living and skilled nursing and rehabilitation careservices, is pleased to announce that 13 of its care centers throughout the western United States have earned the 2015 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and the National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) under the National Quality Award program, which honors assisted living communities and skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers across the country that demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care.
“The National Quality Awards set the bar for our industry, and consumers look to programs like this to help guide their decisions in choosing a care provider,” said Harold Delamarter, founding partner and CEO of Prestige Care. “We are incredibly proud to call so many of our communities Bronze Quality Award winners. This recognition speaks to the compassionate, high-quality care our team provides every day in our communities and centers, and their commitment to constant improvement.”
The award demonstrates Prestige Care’s dedication to continuing on the path toward service excellence through systematic, sustainable and person-centered care and services.
The AHCA/NCAL Quality Award involves a progressive three-step program to encourage continuous learning and development of integrated, quality systems to achieve performance excellence. Organizations apply for recognition and awards at three levels, each of which requires a more detailed and comprehensive demonstration of quality integration and performance. As a bronze-level winner, Prestige Care’s locations are eligible to apply for silver-level recognition, as a next step.
Award levels are based on the Baldrige Performance Excellence Program criteria, which are a set of questions about critical aspects of an organization’s quality performance and management. The 2015 AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award recipients will be recognized at the 66th Annual Convention and Exposition, Oct. 4 – 7, 2015, in San Antonio, Texas.
